Hon. Bryon Wilfert, PC

Chair

Bryon Wilfert brings 26 years of experience in elected political office both as a municipal councilor and as a Federal Member of Parliament. He has extensive experience in leading successful international trade missions to Asia-Pacific countries. Mr. Wilfert is currently the Honorary Consul General for Myanmar, and has received the Order of the Rising Sun – Gold/Silver Star from His Imperial Majesty and the Prime Minister of Japan for his tireless work on Canada/Japan relations.

Jim Louttit

Co-Chair

Jim Louttit brings a wealth of international experience from the financial sector, having worked globally including Latin countries. He is the President for JVL Global Corp, a financial services consulting firm, Chair of ResInt Canada, an international boutique research organization, and the former VP for Scotiabank Latin-America. Mr. Louttit is also active in Rotary serving as a District Governor during 2016-17, is President of the Rotarian Action Group for Microfinance and Community Development, and the President of the Toronto International Microfinance Summit. He is also a Past President and current Director of the Peruvian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
